That Damn Legal Stuff

We’d love to have you submit your ePIFfunny to us, but, before you do, you must read — and agree to — the agreement below.

RELEASE and SUBMISSION FORM

In submitting a piece/artistic creation to ePIFfunnies.com, and in consideration of your publishing it, I agree to the following:

1. I have read the explanation of what an "ePIFfunny" is and believe that the piece I am submitting falls within that definition.  
2. What I am submitting is my original work: None of it was copied from any other source, including a copyrighted source (unless proper attribution to the original source is given and permission to reproduce it has already been received by me and presented to ePIFfunnies.com).  
3. I have full power and authority to submit said material to ePIFfunnies.com and to enter into this agreement.  
4. By submitting information to ePIFfunnies, I grant ePIFfunnies a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to that information at its sole discretion, including storing it on servers and incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including without limitation to published books.
5. I agree to let ePIFfunnies.com edit and/or arrange my submission for content, length, clarity and mistakes and to remove information from the ePIFfunnies website at any time at its sole discretion.  
6. I understand that many more pieces are submitted to ePIFfunnies.com than can be used and that my piece may not be used at all.  
7. I hereby release ePIFfunnies.com, anyone connected with them, and their assigns from any and all claims which might result from this transaction. I agree to indemnify ePIFfunnies.com from any losses or costs incurred by ePIFfunnies.com, anyone connected with them, or its assigns from the breach of any of the terms of this release.
8. I am of legal age in the state in which I live. If I am not of legal age, one of my parents, or a legal guardian, has read and agreed to the above and has given me permission to submit an ePIFfunny.  
9. I agree that if my submission is posted on the ePIFfunnies.com website, I will receive a one-time payment of $15.00 (fifteen dollars). In addition, if my submission is selected as the “ePIFfunny of the Week,” I will also receive a free copy of an already published ePIFfunnies book. Finally, if my submission is included in a future ePIFfunnies book, I will receive a free copy of that book (but no other additional compensation).
